This is one of the standard texts for civil litigation in B.C. It is a three volume set, which provides the interpretation that the courts have given to the various rules of the Supreme Court. The set provides a more comprehensive analysis of each rule than that provided by a simple annotated version of the rules.

This four volume work contains a full set of general litigation precedents as well forms for specific areas of law such as foreclosure, family and estate proceedings. Many of the precedents are followed by useful notes. This is generally considered to be the “go to” source for most court forms.

This manual covers the practices and procedures in B.C. Supreme Court civil proceedings. It has an overview of the flow of case, includes instructions for various tasks and has forms with instructions. It was written for legal secretaries and assistants, however, it has proven to be very useful for new lawyers and students.

This is considered to be one of the standard texts on civil procedure in the Supreme Court of B.C. and will answer the majority of the questions a lawyer may have regarding litigation. Volume one of this two volume set addresses the procedures for a relatively straight forward civil case. It includes a review of the general principles, jurisdiction of the courts, pre-trial procedures, commencement of a proceeding, the hearing and orders made by the courts. Volume two of the set focuses on special subjects such as special parties, third party procedures, amendments to pleadings, consolidation and severance, injunctions, preservation of property and a number of other matters.
