We offer free hands-on Westlaw LawSource and CriminalSource training in Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, New Westminster, Prince George and Victoria branches. Please contact the library nearest you to arrange a training session.
Vancouver's Westlaw Wednesdays
Westlaw Wednesday offer one hour of one-on-one, hands-on, personalized training at our Vancouver library. Sessions count towards your Law Society CPD. We have two time slots available, one in the morning, and one in the early afternoon.
Course options include:
- Basics: If you are new to Westlaw Canada or looking for a refresher, this session is for you.
- Special Topics: this session focusses on areas of law relevant to your practice, and teaches you additional skills, tips and tricks, all based around your needs.
You can also register by emailing librarian@courthouselibrary.ca, by phone (call 1-800-665-2570 and ask to speak to a Legal Community Liaison), or you can just drop in. Drop-ins still receive the same CPD credit for their 1 hour. Look for the reminder notices near the entrance to the Library in Vancouver on Westlaw Wednesdays (every second Wednesday of the month).
