LawStartBC at Vancouver and Victoria Law Days April 17th

Courthouse Library staff will be at Law Day events this weekend in Vancouver and Victoria. The events highlight the British Columbia Justice System and the many legal resources available to the public.

We’ll be featuring a new campaign for the public, called LawStartBC. The campaign links together several ways in which Courthouse Libraries BC helps the public access legal information and assistance:

    • the Clicklaw website, which features legal information and education aimed at the public
    • the HelpMap on the Clicklaw website, which can help the public find someone to assist with legal problems
    • the LawMatters program, which helps public libraries provide current legal information
    • our Courthouse Libraries BC services, which offer reference assistance and access to in-depth legal resources.

We hope to see you there!
